G'day Bird

From G'day Bird
Barn Owl № 18

Barn Owl

Tyto alba

A pale heart-shaped face on completely silent wings, quartering the paddocks all night. The call is a rasping shriek rather than a hoot, which explains a lot of ghost stories.
