G'day Bird

From G'day Bird
Bearded Vulture № 157

Bearded Vulture

Gypaetus barbatus

Lives mostly on bone, dropping the big ones onto rocks until they shatter. The rust-orange front is make-up: it rubs itself in iron-rich mud, and birds kept from it stay white.
