G'day Bird

From G'day Bird
Blue-winged Kookaburra № 24

Blue-winged Kookaburra

Dacelo leachii

The northern cousin, with a pale eye, a blue rump and no sense of timing. The call is a maniacal cackle that never resolves, like laughter going badly wrong.
