G'day Bird

From G'day Bird
Nankeen Kestrel № 64

Nankeen Kestrel

Falco cenchroides

Hangs motionless over a roadside verge with its head locked in place while the wings do the work. Nankeen is an old word for the pale buff cloth its back matches.
