Red-collared Lorikeet № 124

Red-collared Lorikeet

Trichoglossus rubritorquis

The Top End's version of the Rainbow Lorikeet, with an orange collar across the back of the neck. Each year some turn up in Darwin unable to fly and apparently drunk, and the cause is still argued over.
