G'day Bird

From G'day Bird
Wedge-tailed Shearwater № 173

Wedge-tailed Shearwater

Ardenna pacifica

Returns each August to the same burrow on Muttonbird Island at Coffs Harbour, and moans through the night like a child who will not settle. In Hawaiian it is the moaning petrel.
